The Siera Engine is the key element of our Natural Language Processing (NLP) technology. Through bimachines and subsequential transducers it converts text into a machine-readable format which is easier to quantify and manipulate automatically.  Tokenizer, Part-Of-Speech Tagger, Named Entity Recognition are used to define key parts of the text. Additional rules identify predefined topics of interest. The Engine allows for fast processing of large text volumes based on a number of pre-set criteria and returns high-precision results. The results are comparable with human analysis with a level of precision and recall of over 80%. The Siera Engine and the sets of textual analysis rules that it employs are continuously upgraded to ensure the highest standards of quality.
