Commeq Asset Management develops implements and trades fully automated behavioral-finance trading methodologies by interpreting news faster and more precisely than anyone else. Our trading models are built on the automatic interpretation of corporate news and a predictive layer of mathematics. Specifically, Commeq focuses on a mesh of complex data analysis techniques and expertise in the field of computer science and natural language processing to produce and trade successful computer driven trading models. We currently trade highly liquid US Equities with a Quantitative, High Frequency, and Market Neutral trading strategy.
As a member of the team, you will leverage your computer science and data analysis expertise in producing highly profitable computer driven trading models. Working alongside, senior and like-minded quantitative analysts, you will contribute to the enhancement of existing trading models and innovation of new ones.

From a technical perspective you will need to have superior C/C++, stats & data base skills and experience manipulating and working with very large data sets. Strong mathematical and problem solving skills and the ability to apply a number of different techniques to analyze tick data are required. You should be experienced in applying several of the following: Timeseries analysis, Machine Learning, Graph and Automata Theory, Mathematical modeling, Signal Processing. You should have knowledge of efficient O(1) techniques like suffix automata, perfect hashes, k-level ancestor etc..
Requirements:
- Master or PhD degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or Engineering.
- Specialism in researching and developing software and or techniques for mining, analyzing and searching massive data sets.
- Strong to expert programming skills in C, Matlab, Python, Shell scripting.
- Outstanding record of academic and/or professional achievements
- Confident and highly motivated personality.
